Our date and ginger cake is a hand-finished fruit cake with chopped dates and crystallised ginger and decorated with whole dates and crystallised ginger.
Ingredients
Dates (22%), wheat flour, sugar, vegetable margarine (palm oil, rapeseed oil, salt, water), crystallized stem ginger (4%) (ginger, sugar, preservative (sulphur dioxide)), apple juice from concentrate, rapeseed oil, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate), vegetable glycerin, preservative (potassium sorbate), ground ginger, glaze (sugar, water, glucose syrup, gelling agent (pectin), citric acid, acidity regulator (sodium citrates)).
