Our take on an allergen free zaatar spice mix which is simply irresistible with it’s herby and exotic flavour. Made using red wine from the Troodos mountains of Cyprus and spiced in our version of the popular Middle Eastern zaatar spice mix. Cypriot cuisine has been influenced by the Middle Eastern migrants of past so this salami is our homage to them. Slowly fermented for 2-3 days after being oak smoked for 8 hours in our one of its kind walk-in smokehouse. Left to hang in our state of the art ageing room for between 3-4 months.
A shelf stable product meaning there's no refrigeration required.
Ingredients
Pork, Salt, Red Wine, Dextrose, Black Pepper, Cumin, Coriander, Fenugreek, Oregano, Sumac, Preservatives (Sodium Nitrite, Sodium Nitrate).
