Marshmallows

Originally a medicinal confection made from the roots of the marshmallow plant, marshmallows have evolved into an extremely popular sweet treat. The most popular way of eating them, of course, is slowly toasting them over a fire, caramelising the outside into a crispy shell and melting the inside. The USA takes it a step further, sandwiching the gooey treat with chocolate between crackers, making the ever popular s'mores, whilst others prefer to top their hot chocolate with them. Make sure that you have a good stock of all marshmallow types for your customers as the nights grow colder!
