Chai

Chai tea (often known as Masala Chai or Chai Latte) has steadily gained popularity worldwide becoming a feature in many coffee shops and tea houses. Originating in India, chai is a combination of black tea that is brewed with rich aromatic spices. sugar and milk, creating its sweet aroma and flavour. The term ‘chai’ simply means ‘tea’ in Hindi. Chai can include a variety of different warming spices but commonly found are cardamom, cinnamon, ginger cloves, vanilla and star anise.
