Our 1.5KG Round Lined Proving Baskets are carefully handcrafted from sustainable wicker and finished with a removable natural linen liner. They combine traditional craftsmanship with eco-friendly materials. Designed to hold up to 1.5kg of bread dough, this larger proving basket is ideal for professional bakers, food retailers, and artisan bakeries looking to produce generous sourdough loaves or other rustic breads. The round, tapered shape provides excellent support during the proving process, helping the dough maintain its structure and develop a uniform rise.

The linen liner is fitted with an elasticated edge and extends approximately 40mm over the basket rim. This design not only reduces sticking but also makes the liner easier to remove and clean, ensuring long-lasting usability in busy bakery environments. Each basket is finished with a non-toxic, water-based varnish that is completely food-safe, protecting the wicker while enhancing durability.
